My name is Melissa, proud owner of Liquid Luxe Co. Starting off as Liquid Luxe Airbrush Tan and evolving into an all around beauty enhancement paradise … Offering Airbrush Tanning and taking it to a whole new level with Microblading, Stardust Brows, Hybrid Brows, Ombré Brows, Lip Blush, Beauty Marks, Faux Freckles, and more! I am a super creative, passionate, and patient Licensed & Certified Permanent Makeup Artist, Body Art Practitioner, Airbrush Artist , and proud owner of Liquid Luxe Co. I am so glad our stars have aligned bringing you here to check out our fabulous collaboration and dream! A company that is all about health, happiness, and self image/ body positivity! Let’s jump right into it… I’ll tell you a little about myself! Growing up a super pale (and when I say pale I mean SUPER translucent pale) pasty, freckle faced , redhead in San Diego I absolutely hated being so pale. I stuck out like a sore thumb for starters not to mention I was mortified to show my legs and wouldn’t be caught dead in a bathing suit … it’s safe to say I did not feel comfortable in my own skin. (Looking back I was beautiful … but I didn’t realize that then… seems to be the story for a lot of us) As you can imagine, this made me miss out on a lot of fun things kids and teens like doing, also caused me,at the time, to feel very insecure. After having children at a young age, the stretch marks and no longer perfect little no jiggle body didn’t help. Lol. With that being said I spent many many years day dreaming about being” dipped “ in self tanner … kind of like a vanilla ice cream at Dairy Queen… while wearing pants in the middle of dead hot summer. Lol. After relentlessly looking for a solution that would give me that nice natural healthy faux glow without streaks, orange hands, and hassle … I came across the wonderful art of airbrush tanning. Lets just say .. “I fell in love!” I was shocked with all the health benefits and unbelievable boost of confidence. It’s was like a magical instant visual as if I put makeup all over my body or an Instagram filter on, blending all the stretch marks, cellulite, and spider veins, while making me appear more svelte! What a win win! I also loved the never ending new fun wardrobe options of shorts, rompers, and even more importantly finding the love of the beach now that I had the great new confidence of actually walking around in a bathing suit without feeling like I looked like “night of the living dead” ! Fast forward, After working my bum off to support my children for so many years and going to work everyday to well… work .. I was blessed with a later in life baby named Ryder whom we call “Coco” ( why do we call him Coco? … good question) Lol. At that time I was also diagnosed with the dreaded Crohns Disease. The combination of this diagnosis and having a new little knocked me out of that work game for…. Well for ever n ever !! (work doesn’t feel like work anymore !) Staying at home, with lots of time to heal and well… think … I thought what a great idea it would be to promote body positivity to other women in the world. How fabulous it would be to spread this awesome newfound confidence with other moms and women who want to love the skin they’re in and let their inner bronzed goddess shine! I wanted to create a luxurious, relaxing, comfortable atmosphere for women to tan and experience the incredible resultso and life changing benefits that helped me to fall in love with myself again !! Fast forward some more, and Voila!! Liquid Luxe Airbrush Tan was Born !! Working together with Head East Salon and Day Spa we have put our hearts and souls into creating this fun luxurious comfortable environment and experience for you! Come visit our Hawaiian inspired tanning tiki nick named “The Coco Cabana!” ( Little fun fact… the owner of Head East also nick named her granddaughter “Coco” so the name “Coco Cabana” seemed super cute and appropriate!.. isn’t it crazy how god works) Then when I didn’t think it could get any better I was blessed with the idea and passion to push my creativity and ability to help us women even more with permanent makeup! After practicing my butt off, endless classes, and a whole bunch of blood, sweat, and tears ( ok so maybe not blood.. but definitely a little sweat .. and I can’t lie.. maybe a few tears lol) as well as the love ,support, and patience from my family, salon family, friends, and Joanie (the most kind hearted, driven, inspirational lady ever- owner of Head East Salon & Day Spa) .. my dreams came reality with the launch of my Brow & Lip Artistry Studio also located at Head East Salon &Day Spa (my second home ♥️) … a little sprinkle of magic, half a cup of love, and a big pinch of “thank you Lord” !!! Liquid Luxe Co. is born! They say you never work a day in your life if you love what you do …. Well Lord knows I’ve worked a whole whole whole bunch of days in my life lol … and now… Tapping into creativity, meeting amazing women, helping women feel beautiful and empowered… I feel like I have not worked in forever and a day !!!! CANCELATION/ NO SHOW/RESCHEDULE POLICY Due to large amount of time set aside to provide you with the absolute best service , we ask that you if you are going to cancel please cancel within 48 hours. 24 hours for a reschedule. A 25% fee will be charged for any no shows or cancellations within 48 hours before scheduled appointment / within 24 hours for a reschedule
